🟣 Marble
The only AI-first, open-source compliance platform for banks and fintechs.
Our platform lets compliance officers inspect and own the rules protecting their business. It's an ethical choice: no black box, just tech used for good in the fight against financial crime.
Founded in 2023 by Arnaud and Pascal, out of the Hexa studio.
Backed by 42Cap and Passion Capital.
Trusted by more than 50 clients worldwide.
An international team.
🟣 The role
💰 65k–85k€ + Equity
You'll be our first product hire, owning the machine that turns priorities into shipped product: from spec to release.
Turn priorities into crisp, precise specs so engineers are never blocked wondering what "done" means.
Work day to day with engineers to figure out what's feasible, how, and at what cost. You'll spend more time with engineering than with design, so you need to be comfortable with the technical side of the product.
Run the delivery machine: sequence the work, keep a growing team unblocked and shipping, own QA and release.
Spend real time with our customers, compliance and fraud teams at banks and fintechs, to validate ideas and sharpen requirements.
Push QA further upstream: give engineers detailed user stories/specs and let them QA as they build, not just before release.
Document what ships publicly, with videos when useful.
Own tracking/usage measurement to know what's actually used.
Contribute to the product vision alongside Pascal & Arnaud.
🟣 What success looks like at 6 months
Full ownership of delivery end to end: not just executing the raw ask, but understanding the customer's business to shape the right solution, turning it into clear specs, coordinating client/design/eng through to release.
Backlog triage and continuous-improvement roadmap run hands-off by Pascal.
Real point of view on where the product is going and the trade-offs to make, not a 100% execution role.
🟣 Team
FE and BE engineers, senior/expert (~10-15 yrs exp)
UX/UI designer
Reporting to Pascal (CTO) and Arnaud (CEO)
🟣 You
Fluent in English, non-negotiable.
5-8+ years owning product delivery end to end, in a technical, B2B environment.
Technical enough to go deep: you've worked on a genuinely technical product, not just a consumer app.
Senior in craft, not headcount: you've owned execution end to end, several times, without a support structure.
🟣 Growth path
Vertical: lead a product team as it's built out
Horizontal: move into pre-sales / solutions engineering
🟣 Perks &

Benefits
💰 65k–85k€, depending on experience
💰 Equity
🎉 Monthly allowance for sports, restaurants, culture, and office equipment, with Marble contributing 50%
🟣 Questions you might have
⚙️ What do you mean by a "technical" Product Manager?
You don't need to be an engineer, but you'll spend more time with our engineers than with our designer. This isn't a "mockup, then ticket to devs" role: you'll work with engineering upfront to understand what's feasible, how, and at what cost.
Marble is a backend and data-heavy product (APIs, data models, detection rules), so you need to understand how it works under the hood and discuss trade-offs with engineers as a peer. In practice: you can read an API doc, reason about a data model, and write specs that cover edge cases and error cases, not just the happy path.
🛠️ Who owns delivery today?
Right now, Pascal owns delivery end to end: understanding the need, scoping and writing specs, coordinating with design and engineering, following through on implementation, QA and documentation. This role is designed to take over most of that scope.
🎯 How will we measure success 6 months in?
Mostly by your ability to own delivery end to end, with real product judgment: not just executing the raw client ask, but understanding their business to propose the best solution, turning it into clear specs, and coordinating client, design and engineering through to release.
Concretely: backlog triage and the continuous-improvement roadmap running hands-off by Pascal, and a visible step up in delivery quality (QA, testing, documentation). You'll also start building a real point of view on where the product is going, even though Arnaud and Pascal keep the final calls on direction and investment.
🧭 Where do you sit in product vision?
You'll naturally have a product vision dimension, especially since we're looking for someone senior. In the short term though, our priority is catching up on some important features, so the role will lean more toward delivery at first.
Your product impact will mostly come from challenging requirements and helping us make the right implementation and design calls. As the backlog clears, this dimension will naturally grow, meaning more involvement in shaping product vision.
🤖 What role does AI play in the PM role today?
We don't have a PM on the team yet, and none of us has managed one before, so we can't give you an "official" playbook for AI in this specific role. What we can share: how we use AI ourselves, and how the engineering team uses it day to day.
Ultimately, we care about people doing their job well and with creativity, we try not to judge on the "how." The red flags for us are the extremes: refusing to touch anything with an "AI" label on it, or outsourcing all your thinking to it.
📊 What's the team's current maturity on product practices and culture?
Honestly, early-stage rather than mature. Being understaffed on product, a few things we struggle to do well today: systematic tracking of usage metrics for what we ship, broken down by client and user persona, and spending enough time with existing clients to really understand their needs and how they use the product.
That said, Arnaud and Pascal do take time to plan roadmaps at 3 and 6 months (and more loosely at 1-2 years), based on client feedback, prospect feedback, and where we want to take the product.
🧰 What tools and product processes are already in place?
Roadmap and delivery are tracked in Linear, with some Notion. Designs in Figma. Today, Pascal turns a "feature idea for clients" into functional specs and figures out the UI with our designer.
Depending on feature complexity, technical specs (more or less detailed) are then owned by the engineer in charge, followed by implementation. Two-week sprints, QA at the end of each sprint, release to production, then to our secondary SaaS regions the following week. Internal demo every week, Friday afternoon.
