Our client is seeking an experienced HR Officer to join their Port Elizabeth team, Support implementation and monitoring of approved Employment Equity plans and targets Maintain accurate Employment Equity data, committee records, training evidence and audit files across sites Coordinate Employment Equity meetings and track agreed actions Assist the HR Manager with workforce analysis, projections and preparation of EEA2, EEA4, EEA12 and EEA13 documentation Maintain approved Employment Equity targets and supporting information on BEE123 Coordinate disciplinary and grievance processes, including notices, documentation, scheduling and record keeping Provide first-line procedural guidance to line management in accordance with approved policies and procedures Maintain accurate employee relations case records and monitor outstanding actions Comply with the HR communication matrix and coordinate approved employee communications Coordinate employee engagement survey administration, participation tracking and follow-up activities Assist in maintaining and publishing approved HR policies, procedures, handbooks and induction materials Identify outdated documentation or process gaps and propose updates for review Assist in maintaining approved organisational structures, positions and employee links on relevant systems and records Support the processing of approved position creations, removals, employee transfers and organisational changes Reconcile structures against approved establishment numbers and report discrepancies Coordinate recruitment from approved requisition through to appointment Maintain approved position profiles and submit grading requests for evaluation Advertise vacancies, liaise with recruitment agencies, schedule assessments and interviews, and coordinate candidate communication Coordinate pre-employment checks and maintain supporting records Issue approved employment contracts and coordinate onboarding, induction and required system/hardware requests Support the processing of approved promotions, salary adjustments, transfers, contract extensions and terminations Prepare employment-change letters and contracts based on approved instructions Compile and verify payroll inputs and submit within prescribed deadlines Allocate employee numbers and ensure approved SAP/job coding is correctly applied Coordinate medical aid, GAP cover, leave approver and other benefit changes Prepare annual increase and bonus schedules for review and approval Maintain employee movements accurately on Prisma, Sage and other applicable HR systems Coordinate withdrawal, funeral, disability and death-claim documentation for review and submission Issue employee statements where applicable and follow up outstanding fund administration Support Section 14 transfer administration under direction of the HR Manager Maintain HR privacy and compliance records and monitor required appointments and documentation Compile supporting information for quarterly POPIA assessments and annual PAIA requirements General HR Administration

Requirements Grade 12 Bachelor’s Degree (3 years) / NQF level 7 in HR Management or similar Minimum of 2 years related work experience Proficient in MS Office – MS Word, MS Excel (advanced) & MS PowerPoint Driver’s licence and own vehicle Prisma experience SAGE 300 experience will be advantageous Sound working knowledge of bargaining council requirements, including NBCRFLI and MIBCO where relevant
